Woodcreek SeaWolves Board of Directors

The Woodcreek SeaWolves is an independent recreation swim team in Roseville, California. The SeaWolves have a Parent Board to act in the best interests of the swimmers, coaches, and parents. These hard working, dedicated parents ensure the success of the Woodcreek SeaWolves and all of the kids that swim on it. Board meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at the RAC in between the practice hours during the swim season and will be convened remotely during the off-season. Contact the Board Member or Chairperson if you have an Agenda item or are looking to fill an open position.

Position Overview: The President of the Board of Directors for the Woodcreek SeaWolves serves as the primary leader and representative of the swim team’s governing body. Vice President Katey Lamke

Position Overview: The Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Woodcreek SeaWolves is a leadership role within the governing body of the team, supporting the President and working closely with other Board members to ensure the smooth operation, growth, and success of the recreational swim team. This individual will assist in strategic planning, help drive key initiatives, and ensure that the team’s mission, values, and long-term goals are upheld. In the absence of the President, the Vice President will assume the President’s responsibilities and ensure continuity in the team’s leadership. 

The Vice President will work collaboratively with the President, other Board members, coaches, and volunteers to create a positive environment for swimmers and their families. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for supporting the team’s athletes and broader community.

    League Representative Bobby Collins

    Position Overview: The League Representative serves as the primary liaison between the Woodcreek SeaWolves and the governing swim league(s) in which the team participates. This volunteer position on the Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the team complies with league rules, regulations, and requirements, as well as facilitating communication and coordination between the team and league officials. The League Representative plays a key role in representing the team’s interests at league meetings, handling registration and scheduling for league events, and ensuring that the team’s activities align with league policies.

    • Be proactive in creating a fun and safe environment for swimmers, parents, coaches and other teams.
    • Recruit volunteers to assist in organizing and running fundraising events and soliciting corporate donations.
    • Organize the Swim-a-thon fundraiser:
    • Obtain donations from area businesses. This can include products/services for a raffle, items to sell at the snack bar or Wolf Wear Boutique, or sponsorships.
    • Attend monthly Parent Board meetings to report progress and provide input and on various items during board meetings.
    • Position satisfies annual family volunteer requirement.
