Meet FAQs
1) What is "Time Trials"?
Time Trials is a mock swim meet but we do not have a visiting team to compete against. All swimmers swim all their events that they swim for their age groups:
6 & under: 25 free, 25 back.
7-8: 25 free, 50 free, 25 back, 25 breast, 25 fly.
9-10: 25 free, 50 free, 25 back, 25 breast, 25 fly, 100 IM (fly, back, breast, free).
11-12 and 13-14: 50 free, 100 free, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 IM
15-18: 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 50 fly, 100 IM
2) Where can I learn more about the rules of the meet?
NorCal swim league uses the USS (United States Swimming) rules. Any differences are documented in the Norcal Swim League Bylaws .
3) What teams are in our conference?
NorCal swim league is divided into 5 conferences. The SeaWolves swam in the Gold Rush Conference in 2024 and moved to the Comstock Conference in 2025.

4) How do I sign my child out of an upcoming meet?
Swimmers are no longer automatically registered for every meet. Unless you sign in, you will be scratched from the meets that you do not select to attend.
Please sign in as far in advance of the meet as possible, but must be by the Monday (5 days before) the meet at 10pm.
To sign in:
1) Click "Events" on the top menu bar.
2) Click "Meet Entry" for the meet that you would like to sign out.
3) Log in with your email and password.
4) Click "Edit"
5) Select "Attending" for all the swimmers that you would like to sign in. Then select "Not attending" for all swimmers that you would like to sign out. "Undeclared" entries will be scratched from the meet.
6) Click "Save"
