Inclement Weather Policies updated
For more information about policies during inclement weather, please refer under the parent info tab here. We have some poor air quality days coming up later this week and the coaches may send out update emails or post to their news tabs for last minute updates.
Update on mask use
With the news on Thursday, May 13th from the CDC about mask use in regards to those who are vaccinated and the need for mask in outdoor scenarios, we are going to adjust our COVID mask policy moving forward.
- If you are unvaccinated, we are strongly encouraging you to continue to wear your masks at our two “pinch points” while at the facility- during the entry procedure and during exit. This would be in line with CDC guidelines that were shared today.
- Once you enter the facility masks will not be required, but we recommend them again if you enter a closed in area (restrooms) if you are unvaccinated.
- If you are vaccinated, as stated by the CDC, you no longer need to be masked.

Parents allowed back on deck during practices starting May 4th!
Beginning on TUESDAY, MAY 4th parents will be allowed back on the pool deck across all CCA and SeaWolves programming for practices. I have attached a pdf. with our protocols and instructions . We are making progress towards getting back to normal, please continue to be patient and remember just because you see something on the news does not mean we can necessarily change it that day! The City of Roseville and Placer have been working well with us, but it does take time to digest new guidelines, create a plan, and get approval. If/when we can make changes to these practice protocols we will update you when those changes occur.
Please review and adhere to the guidelines attached if you plan on heading on deck to watch your swimmer.
We are working on how this could affect swim meets as we still have limitations (as of now) on the amount that we have put on deck during an event. Stay tuned, as things have been changing rapidly.
Thank you all, have a great weekend, and we will see you back on deck on Tuesday May 4th!
