Time Trials is this Saturday, May 2nd! The BOD and Coaching staff are excited to see the starting off point for our swimmers, and we just know that we will see some great swims, but more importantly, we will see our team have fun!

Here are all the details for Saturday:

7am: Set-Up Crew will begin the process of getting the deck ready for a swim meet. Please note that family tents cannot go up until the team tents are set up.

8:00-8:15am: Swimmer check-in. All swimmers must be checked in by the coaches at the check-in table. The check-in table will be located near the front gates, usually by the CCA office. Please note that swimmers must be present at the table to be checked in. Swimmers not checked in by 8:15am will be scratched from the meet.

8:30-9:15am: Warm-Ups. These are done by age groups. Swimmers need to be ready when called by the coaches to get in the water for warm-ups. 6&U will not be warming up.

8:45-9:15am: Volunteer Meetings. Please listen to the announcer for the start of volunteer position meetings. Some positions require quick meetings before the meet begins. Please be on time to your volunteer shifts. If you are late to a shift, we cannot start the meet. Volunteer check-in has moved next to Wolf Wear

9:30am: Meet Start. We will try to run the meet as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Since it is the first meet, issues do come up. Typically, our time trials have taken about 4-5 hours to complete. The computers right now are showing the meet to be about 4 1/4 hours. We will pick up time where we can, especially in the 11-18 groups with fly over starts.

Please prepare your swimmer(s) for the morning. Check the website for our guide on what to bring to a meet if this is your first year on a swim team. The Snack Shack will be open for food purchases, and Wolf Wear will be selling spirit wear.

All swimmers will swim every event. This is different from a regular dual meet. There are no relays at Time Trials. Returning swimmers will not have entry times from last season, but the meet will be seeded using entry time information to keep the meet running in a timely manner.

Meet Mobile is an app that can be purchased in the app store. You can purchase heat sheets for every meet or purchase an annual subscription. This app will give you access to the meet including heat and lane assignments. You will also be able to see this at the Team Tents. Times in Meet Mobile are not always the official times until after the conclusion of the meet and they can change; however, we do our best to keep it up to date during the meet.

Please review all attachments to have a successful Saturday. See you on deck!

    Thank you,

    Coach Brit
